Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to the notary services provided by BreathEasy Administrative Services LLC, doing business as BreathEasy Mobile Notary. By using this website or booking an appointment, you agree to them.
Not legal advice
We are not attorneys and we do not practice law. A notary public may not give legal advice or assist you in drafting, completing, selecting, or understanding a document or transaction. Nothing on this website is legal advice. If you need advice about your documents, please consult a licensed attorney.
What a notarization requires
Every signer must be personally present for the notarial act, or present in an approved remote online session, and must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification. Signers must be aware of what they are signing and must sign willingly. Documents must be complete, with no blank spaces to be filled in later. We are required by Nevada law to refuse a notarization when these conditions are not met, or when we have reason to believe the transaction is unlawful or the signer is being coerced. A refusal on those grounds is not a failure of service.
Fees, payment, and cancellations
Notarial fees follow the schedule posted on our rates page, which reflects the maximums allowed under NRS 240.100. Travel fees are separate, are not required by law, and are payable in advance. We accept cash, personal or business checks, and credit card. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as you can. Travel fees may still apply when we have already traveled to your location.
Appointments and scheduling
All appointments are by request and are confirmed by phone or email. A form submission is a request, not a confirmed booking, until we reply and confirm the time and place.
Website use
You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to interfere with its operation, submitting false information, or using our contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages. Website content is ours and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Limitation of liability
Our responsibility is limited to performing the notarial act properly under Nevada law. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, validity, or legal effect of your documents, or for losses arising from how a document is used after it is notarized. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in question.
